The Biblical Zoo is situated in the South West part of Jerusalem. While the zoo has existed since 1928, it has only been at its current location since 1993. The zoo has a special focus on animals mentioned in the Bible. The zoo tends to be very crowded on holidays.

Location
En route into Jerusalem, turn right onto Herzl Road, turn left at the third traffic light onto Begin South Freeway Travel on this freeway until you come to a set of lights and turn right towards Kiryat Yovel. At the next traffic light, turn left under the bridge. Follow the road signs to the Zoo.

Friday and Holiday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Saturdays and Holidays 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
