The Biblical Zoo is situated in the South West part of Jerusalem. While the zoo has existed since 1928, it has only been at its current location since 1993. The zoo has a special focus on animals mentioned in the Bible. The zoo tends to be very crowded on holidays.
The zoo does not accept animals from the wild, as they believe it to be cruel
The zoo is 250,000 square meters large
